Applicants are generally required to fulfill the following investment requirements:
Applicants may lease a qualifying residential property in Malta for a minimum annual rent of EUR 14,000 for a minimum period of five years.

Minimum capital assets of EUR 500,000, including at least EUR 150,000 in liquid financial assets

To qualify for the Malta Permanent Residence Programme, the main applicant must:
Be a non-EU, non-EEA, and non-Swiss national
Be at least 18 years old
Have a certificate of good health from a reputable healthcare system
Have a clean criminal record
Demonstrate legal source of funds and wealth
Meet all investment and financial requirements
Successfully pass government due diligence and compliance checks
