To qualify for the Spain Non-Lucrative Visa (NLV) Program, the main applicant must:
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Demonstrate sufficient financial means or passive income to support living expenses in Spain
• Commit to not undertaking employment or professional activities within Spain
• Hold a valid private health insurance policy in Spain
• Have a clean personal and criminal record
• Be in good health
• Provide proof of legal accommodation in Spain
• Provide all required supporting documentation

Submission of the visa application through the appropriate Spanish embassy or consulate.
Attendance of the official visa appointment and biometrics processing at the relevant consulate.
Following approval, the visa is issued, and applicants travel to Spain.
Applying for and collecting the physical residence card (TIE) upon arrival in Spain.
